Your Jubilee 2025 Tour begins when you arrive on your own in your Hotel. Upon your arrival, you will have time to relax and settle in before joining the group for a welcome aperitif, followed by a dellicious dinner, in the rooftop restaurant of your hotel. The evening will offer an introduction to the culinary delights of Italy while building anticipation for this Rome Jubilee Tour.
First Part of the Four Major Basilicas in Rome
Buongiorno! After a delicious breakfast at your hotel begin your day with a guided tour of the first of the four major Basilicas in Rome: St Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world. Enter through one of the Holy Doors, which is only open during a Jubilee and symbolizes the passage to redemption and grace.
Then proceed with a Rome sightseeing, where you will explore the nearby places like the Sant Angelo Castle and Piazza Navona.
After this fullfilled morning it’s time to enjoy a delicious lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon you will continue your guided tour in another of the four major basilicas in Rome: St Paul’s Basilica, located outside the ancient city walls of Rome. The massive structure and its tranquil surroundings make this basilica an oasis of peace for pilgrims. Explore the interiors and you will be struck by the vastness and beauty of this church. Then you will also have the chance to explore the nearby church of San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane, a hidden gem which offers a fascinating glimpse into Baroque architecture.
At the end of this immersive day you will enjoy a delicious dinner in a local restaurant and buonanotte!
Second Part of the Four Major Basilicas in Rome
Good morning for another day of this amazing Jubilee 2025 Group Tour. During this day you will visit one of the most important papal basilicas of Rome: Saint Mary Major. Afer visiting the interiors of the basilica with its 5th Century Mosaic and the the grand chapel, you will have the chance to live a unique experience: a private concert inside the Basilica. A tenor and pianist will make you enjoy this trascendent athmosphre, where the beauty of sacred music harmonizes with the splendor of one of the most historic basilicas of Rome.
Afterwards, you will enjoy a delicious lunch in a rooftop restaurant just across the St Mary Major basilica.
Your afternoon will be a captivating journey through the the heart of the ancient Rome. During your Rome sightseeing you will admire externally the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Enjoy a nice stroll that offers a unique insight into the city’s rich history and culture.
After this walking tour, with your bus you will head back to your hotel and enjoy a dinner in a restaurant nearby. Buonanotte!
Last Part of the Four Major Basilicas in Rome
Buongiorno for an other day of your Jubilee 2025 group tour! During the morning you will visit The Arch Basilica of St John Lateran, which holds a preeminent place among the basilicas. In fact it is the oldest of the four major basilicas in Rome and it’s known as the “Mother and Head” of all churches in the world. With your guide admire the grand entrance with the majestic facade and as you enter, you are greeted by the immense central nave, with massive statues. Just across the basilica is the Scala Sancta (=the Holy Stairs), the very steps Jesus ascended during his trial before Pontius Pilate.
Afterwards with your tour leader and a tour guide you will enjoy a walking tour of the Eternal City, where you will explore the main sites such as the Spanish Steps, the Pincio Terrace and Trevi’s Fountain. Enjoy a journey into history and beauty! In between the sightseeing you will have a light lunch in the center of Rome.
After your final Rome sightseeing you will head back to your hotel and you will have the goodbye dinner with the rest of the group.
