Detailed Itinerary

Day One: Departure from Rome, Spoleto and Spello Tour, Check in your hotel nearby Assisi

Buongiorno in Rome! Your Umbria & Tuscany Culinary Treasures Week Tour will begin as your Private English-Speaking Driver picks you up from your custom accommodation in Rome or Rome Airport. In an elegant and extra comfortable Mercedes Benz Vehicle he will chauffer you directly to Spoleto town.
Here you’ll meet your Private Licensed Tour Guide for a guided adventure of the site, you will tour the Spoleto artifacts and admire its architecture, characterized by Roman times, Gothic and even Renaissance periods. Visit then the Spoleto’s Castle that will make you fall in love with its view over the entire valley. Be ready then to indulge in a fine Umbrian lunch, taste some local wines. After lunch, you will continue your way to Spello, another incredible Medieval Italian Borgo. Walk down its town center where the typical small houses made of stone are located, all of them adorned with beautiful flowers over the tiny balconies. As you reach your stunning accommodation in Umbria, check in and relax time, prior having another delicious food experience at the hotel’s Restaurant.

Day Two: Montefalco Wine, Cheese & Olive Oil Experience, Assisi Guided Tour

Buongiorno for a new day in Umbria region. Get on board with your English Speaking Driver and visit the Borgo of Montefalco, famous for its incredible Sagrantino di Montefalco Wine. After a short stop in the borgo, you will be chauffeured to a local Farmhouse where you will enjoy a complete visit of the Estate, including winery and cellars, the olive groves, and the vineyards and of course the Oil Mill. After the visit, begin your tasting experience as you sample local cheeses, cold cuts, olive oil produced with ‘’a freddo’’ technique and of course the best selection of local red and whites. Stop for lunch nearby and complete your morning food and wine experience in Montefalco. Proceed then to Assisi, with your Private Tour Guide you will visit the birthplace of Saint Francis and the incredibly beautiful Saint Francis Basilica where the Saint’s remains are kept. Here you will also admire the magnificent frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue. Proceed then with your visit to the Cathedral of San Rufino and to Rocca Maggiore Castle. Stop by the Santa Chiara Church and enjoy the views from its piazza. Once the guided tour will come to close, your Driver will pick you up and chauffeur you back to your accommodation where you will have time to prepare for dinner.

Day Three: Perugia Guided Tour with Chocolate House visit and Cooking Class for Dinner

After breakfast, you will be chauffeured to the beautiful city of Perugia! On your half day guided tour of the city, you will visit its main historical attractions such as Il Palazzo Priori, la Cappella di San Severo and Il Pozzo Etrusco. Perugia is not only history, it is also famous for the processing of chocolate, its Masters are famous all over the world and on this occasion you will visit a chocolate factory where you will be able to sample some of typical local chocolates. Enjoy a mouth-watering lunch accompanied with local excellent wines. After this experience be ready to be chauffeured back to Assisi area, where you’ll start your hands-on experience, a private Cooking lesson with a Private Italian Chef at your disposal for the entire evening. You will learn how to prepare traditional Umbrian pasta dishes and the importance of the use of truffles in local cuisine. Enjoy then the dinner you have greatly prepared with your Private Chef. After your art, food and wine experience, you will return to your accommodation and buona notte!

Day Four: Check out, Cortona & Passignano sul Trasimeno, Check in Tuscan Hotel

Buongiorno! After breakfast, check out and be ready to visit Tuscany and its hidden gems such as Cortona. On your way to Cortona, stop by the lovely Trasimeno Lake, specifically in Passignano sul Trasimeno. As you reach Passignano, admire the lovely gentle hills around the lake, adorned with vineyards, olive groves, sunflowers and corn fields. As you walk around in Passignano, visit the stunning Fortress as it will give a 360°view of the Lake and surrounding hills. For lunch you will taste true traditional dishes, flavored with the fine oil from the Trasimeno hills, and of course accompanied by Grechetto or Novello Wines. Your next stop will be Cortona, situated 600m above the sea level, surrounded by green valleys and wild nature, it will make you fall in love with the stunning views over Umbria and Tuscany regions, both in one blink. After the city visit, outside the city walls stop by the real-life Villa Bramasole, imagine being part of ‘’Under the Tuscan Sun’’ just for a second. You will then check in your Tuscan accommodation, enjoy a delicious Tuscan dinner nearby.

Day Five: Tuscan Wine Experience and Arezzo Guided Visit

Buongiorno! Tuscany is the match of good wine and good food for excellence, so one could not miss a morning in the Tuscan countryside and a visit to a real historic farmhouse of the 17th century.
Begin with a visit of the estate, followed by a guided tour of the vineyards where you’ll be introduced to the principles of organic vines cultivation. Walk in the historic family Wine Cellar where you’ll experience the wine-maker typical process: from fermentations to aging and stop by a Vinsantaia. After this part, it’s time to taste all the delicacies you’ve seen before. With a wine expert, you will sample seven different typologies of wines, accompanied by home-made bread, olive oil and cold cuts. Enjoy then a four course lunch. Your next stop will be Arezzo, the city of ‘’La vita è bella’’. On board with your Private English Speaking Driver you will reach the town, where you will meet your Private Tour guide for a half day tour of the town. Day Six: Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino with Cheese and Wine Tastings

During your time in Montepulciano, medieval town of rare beauty, you’ll enjoy the vast panoramas over the Val D’Orcia as well as the ancient stone houses, charming squares, beautiful piazzas and city corners full of wineries. Montepulciano is famous for its deeply red wines made from a classic Italian wine grape, one of the most wide widely planted grapes in the country. Enjoy some shopping in the lovely shops and then a visit to a local Winery for a wine tasting of local wines such as Vino Nobile, followed by a typical Tuscan lunch. After a delightful lunch, you will be chauffeured to Pienza, famous for its local pecorino sheep's milk cheese. Explore the stunning Borgo as you discover its rich culture and history and then enjoy a cheese tasting. Your Driver will then chauffeur you to Montalcino, a classic fairytale hilltop town, surrounded by fortified walls and with a beautiful Castle of medieval style in its heart. Montalcino is renowned all over the world for the production of its precious Brunello red wine. Enjoy a tasting of few local superb wines, before being chauffeured back to your hotel.

Day Seven Luxury Ferrari Drive in Tuscany and Wine Gourmet Experience

Buongiorno in Tuscany and be ready for an ultimate and luxury experience in the middle of Tuscan hills. The ultimate luxury travel and gourmet experience. Today the keywords of the day are speed, adrenaline, Tuscan landscapes, and excellent wine and incredible Tuscan food. As you reach a local Agriturism, you will be assisted in taking your Ferrari California or Portofino, and you will drive it through the breathtaking Tuscan countryside. You’ll spend 3 hours in a magnificent way in Bagno Vignoni area, surrounded by rolling hills dotted with yellow and red flowers, picturesque country roads winding through perfect vineyards, scenic olive grove and typical cypress trees. Once that you are back to the Estate, you will begin a true gourmet experience as your Private Wine Expert guides you though the Estate, its vineyards and cellars. For lunch experience the best Tuscan cuisine in Val D’Orcia has to offer, from fresh pasta to delicious ‘’cantucci’’ with Vinsanto wine. After this part, your Private Driver will chauffeur you back to your accommodation where you will relax in local facilities such as swimming pool or spa. Day Eight: Transfer to Rome with Orvieto Visit & Winery Tour

Morning time - After breakfast, check out and your Private Driver will pick you up from your Tuscan accommodation and you will be driven to Orvieto. Prior being chauffeured to the hilltop town, enjoy a guided wine tour of a local Farmhouse from 11th Century. Enjoy a wine tasting and vineyards tour. Visit then Orvieto, its mysterious Dome and St Patrick’s Wall. Stop for lunch in a local Trattoria, where you will taste delicious Umbrian dishes. After your wonderful morning and lunch, your Driver will chauffeur you to your custom accommodation in Rome or Rome Airport and arrividerci!
