Description

Your Bocelli Overnight Shore Excursion will begin as you disembark from your cruise ship. Your Private English Speaking Driver will be awaiting your arrival and will greet you with a sign with your name on it. You will be chauffeured in a private and elegant Mercedes Benz vehicle to your first stop, the town of Volterra. Volterra is a magnificent medieval town located in the middle of Tuscany. As you arrive you will discover the renowned ancient Roman Amphitheater that will take your breath away as you admire the history resting in front of your eyes. Continue on with your Private English Speaking Driver as you enjoy a beautiful stroll throughout the medieval town discovering the history and beauty. Visit the quaint boutiques, and you’ll even get a chance to visit the Alabaster laboratory, as Volterra is known for its alabaster crafts. You will see the work in progress, and may even take some home with you. The tour will continue on as you are chauffeured to the Teatro del Silenzio, the outdoor venue located in the Tuscan hills where Maestro Andrea Bocelli holds his annual concert each year for 10,000 guests from all over the world. You will love this incredible location. Afterwards you will visit the Bocelli family vineyards where you will stroll around and learn about the wine making process. Afterwards you will indulge in a private wine tasting with Alessio Bocelli, nephew of Andrea and he will offer you three different Bocelli wines, oil and honey to taste alongside an incredible Tuscan appetizer filled with cured meats and cheeses. Indulge in a three course meal after a very in depth description of the Bocelli products presented to you by Alessio during the wine tasting. Visit the Bocelli Museum located on the first floor of the restaurant where ou will witness the lifetime musical achievements by Andrea Bocelli. In the afternoon you will admire the Leaning Tower of Pisa in the Miracle Square as your day will end in the gorgeous town of Pisa. That evening you will be chauffeured to a wonderful accommodation in Tuscany where you will settle in and then enjoy a delicious meal at the restaurant located within. The next morning your Private English Speaking Driver will be waiting for you at your accommodation.
