Description
Your Tuscan Organic Farmhouse Experience Shore Excursion will begin as your English Speaking Driver picks you up at your cruise ship at the Port of Livorno. He will chauffeur you through the marvelous Tuscan countryside on your way to a local Farmhouse, nearby Volterra. At the farmhouse, you will experience the authenticity of a traditional Tuscan Organic Farm, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and fields. The day begins with a honey tasting led by the local beekeeper, offering insights into the bees’ vital role in biodiversity and the environment. Afterward, you will explore the farm’s Organic Garden and collect fresh vegetables and herbs, which will be used in a hands-on cooking class. You will then learn to prepare traditional Tuscan dishes using organic ingredients, and enjoy the fruits of your their labor during a delicious lunch paired with the organic wines produced on-site.
After lunch, enjoy an insightful Workshop with a Wine Expert and Agronomist, where you’ll learn about sustainable farming, organic viticulture, and the role of biodiversity in winemaking, gaining valuable knowledge about eco-friendly agricultural practices. After a delicious day, your Tuscan Organic Farmhouse Experience Shore Excursion will come to an end as your Private English Speaking Driver chauffeurs you back to your cruise ship at the Port of Livorno.
