Our Siena and San Gimignano Day Tour will introduce you to Italy’s enchanting Tuscan countryside. You’ll begin as your English Speaking Driver picks you up from your local accommodation, the airport or train station in Rome. He will chauffeur you through the stunning Tuscan countryside and will answer any questions you may have about Italian culture or history. Your first destination will be the beautiful town of Siena, famous for its intriguing history and beautifully designed gothic architecture. You will discover the Piazza del Campo, the historic location of the traditional Palio, a horse race that is held in Siena twice a year and renowned throughout the world. You will admire the beautiful palace, Palazzo Pubblico and climb to the top of the Torre Mangia where you will enjoy the panoramic views of Siena below. At the Church of San Domenico and the Reliquary of Santa Caterina of Siena you will view the intricate architecture and explore the intriguing religious history surround these structures. You’ll continue on to your next stop where you will indulge in a four course lunch in an exquisite restaurant located in Siena. You will dine on fine Senese cuisine that will ignite your senses. After a delicious meal, you will be chauffeured to San Gimignano where you will stroll around the incredible city and even climb to the top of the famous towers situated in San Gimignano and admire the beautiful panoramic view. You will be chauffeured to a local winery where you will enjoy the exquisite flavors of wine locally produced in the town. You will enjoy the famous Vernaccia, a delicious white wine that San Gimignano is famous for. After an indulgent private Wine Tasting on your marvelous Siena and San Gimignano Day Tour, your English Speaking Driver will chauffeur you back to your local accommodation, the airport or train station in Rome.
