Our Tuscany Wine Tour is a beautiful group experience that will take you to the heart of Tuscany for 5-nights at the beginning of Autumn, the perfect period for your Grape Harvesting Experience! Included in the package are 4-star accommodation surrounded by Tuscan hills, bus-transport during day tours, an English Speaking Tour Leader and meals. In addition to that, you will experience the magic of fine wine lessons explained by a local Sommelier, Truffle Hunting and tastings of unique Tuscan wines as well as Pasta Making Class. The most intriguing experience, however, will certainly be “vendemmia“ , Italian for grape harvest, in authentic Tuscan vineyards. Welcome to Tuscany! Your “Grape Harvesting & Tuscany Wine Tour” will begin as you arrive at the group’s hotel on your own ( private transfers are available with an additional extra cost), check in and relax prior to an exciting evening ( check in available after 2 PM). The group’s hotel is nestled in the Tuscan countryside and hosts its own Winery. At around 5:30 PM, your group’s Private English Speaking Tour Leader will be waiting for you at the hall of the hotel where you will also meet the rest of the group. The tour Leader will take you to a private room of the Hotel’s Winery where the group will enjoy a Wine Lesson and a Guided Wine Tasting of Tenuta’s wines! After that, the group will indulge in a tasty welcome dinner. A perfect way to finish your first day of the “Grape Harvesting & Tuscany Wine Group Tour Package”!
Live an authentic Grape Harvesting Experience on our group tour!
After breakfast, you will meet your English Speaking Tour Leader directly at your hotel. Let’s start your first group tour activity! We will take you to an ancient winery nestled in the hills of San Gimignano, where you will experience what we call “vendemmia” = grape harvest. Once arrived, the group will be accompanied to the panoramic vineyards. Now your grape harvesting experience begins! The winemakers will give you a lesson on correct grape harvesting to ensure you the funniest and easiest experience ever. At the end, there will be a special wine lesson followed by a very rich wine tasting, combined with a Tuscan style lunch.
In the afternoon, you will have time to stroll along the medieval avenues of San Gimignano admiring its spectacular towers, UNESCO heritage! As soon as your Tuscany Wine Tour will come to an end, the group will return to the hotel and have dinner all together.
Autumn in Tuscany is not only famous for the grape harvesting but also for the opening of the truffle hunting season! Our Wine Group Tour in Tuscany will now take you to another special Agriturismo, close by Volterra. Here you will meet your “Tartufaio”, a truffle expert, and his dogs. After an explanation about the world of truffles and after introducing his dogs, you will start the real truffle haunting in the Tuscan woods surrounding the hills of Volterra. At the end of the experience, an incredible truffles-based lunch will be waiting for you. Before returning to the hotel, take a walk around the fascinating town of Volterra and enjoy its medieval beauty.

After breakfast, our group tour will take you to another place where you can taste incredible Wine in Tuscany! Begin the tour with the visit of Bolgheri, a Medieval village immersed in a typical Tuscan countryside shaped by thousands of local vines and olive trees. Famous for the excellent production of Super Tuscan Wines and olive oil, this place will enchant you. Enjoy a guided visit of the local winery and its vineyards, followed by tasty wine tasting. After lunch, your group tour will head to an ancient olive oil mill: delight yourselves with a guided tour of the “Frantoio” and a tasting of bruschette and Evo Oil. After this visit, your Tuscany Wine Tour will take you back to the hotel and relax.
