Description
Your Etruscan Shore Excursion will begin as your Private English Speaking Driver greets you at your cruise ship as you disembark in Civitavecchia. He will be waiting to greet you with a sign with your name on it. He will then chauffeur you in a private and comfortable Mercedes Benz vehicle through the Eternal City to reach the ancient Etruscan city of Tuscania. Tuscania is a marvelous ancient city with Etruscan origins that is home to the gorgeous Chiesa di S. Maria Maggiore which you will stroll around and admire in the morning. Visit the Torre Mozza that holds a reliquary of sculptures of many saints. Revel in the ancient architecture that is truly breathtaking and will leave you in awe. Take a stop and enjoy an incredibly delicious lunch filled with Roman delicacies at a local trattoria before continuing on your fascinating tour. In Tarquinia you will take a stroll through the city that is famous for its many churches and is known as the most ancient Etruscan settlement as it is home to the ancient Etruscan Necropolis that you will visit, as well as the renowned Etruscan Museum. Admire the view of the city from above a lovely panoramic view. Your Etruscan Shore Excursion will come to a close as your Private English Speaking Driver chauffeurs you back to your cruise ship in Civitavecchia.
