Your Cinque Terre Shore Excursion will begin as your Private English Speaking Driver will be waiting for you at your cruise ship at the Livorno Port. He will greet you and chauffeur you to the ferry where you will be met by a licensed tour guide who will lead you on your Cinque Terre Shore Excursion. The ferry will be delightful as you admire the panoramic views of the coast as you arrive at your first stop in the town of Monterosso. Monterosso is known for its famous convent of Saint Francis that dates back to the 17th century and is home to many works of art. The town is known for Sciacchetrà, a sweet raisin wine that is enjoyed with desert. Your next stop is Vernazza where you will visit the Church of Santa Margherita di Antiochia, located on top of the coast. Your next stop will be Corniglia, a stunning cliff town that offers wonderful views. Here you will visit the Saint Peter’s Church that was constructed in 1334. You will continue to Manarola, known as the most beautiful town of the Cinque Terre because of the way the houses are situated on the rocky spur along the sea. You will take the “Via dell’Amore” or “Lover’s Lane” leading you to Riomaggiore, the highest town along the coast. Continue back to your ferry and meet your Private English Speaking Driver again who will be waiting for you to chauffeur you back to the Livorno Port to your cruise after your Cinque Terre Shore Excursion.
