Here you will meet your private “driving” tour guide and aboard a 4×4 vehicle (max for 8 passengers) you will be taken to the heart of marble quarries! Crossing tortuous and very steep roads, you will reach one of the highest quarries, up to 1000 mt. altitude. You will have the chance to enjoy some stops to admire different active quarries as the tour guide gives you a bit more information about the cultural and historical background of these places. Then you will visit a panoramic point, where you can take a lot of photos and toast to your new incredible experience with a glass of local fresh Prosecco! Your next stop will be a local Restaurant where you can enjoy a typical lunch and even taste some local “Lardo di Colonnata” during your antipasto! Meanwhile the last stop of the day will be the magnificent small gem of Versilia Region: Pietrasanta, known as the city of arts! Due to its proximity to the sea and the marble quarries, this small town not only offers a beautiful historic center where you can walk around admiring unique architecture, but also narrow streets full of art galleries, boutiques of sculptors and artists of various kinds!
