Description
Our Bocelli Tuscan Wines Shore Excursion is perfect for those passionate about Tuscany, excellent wines and of course Andrea Bocelli music. Begin your shorex as your Private English Speaking Driver picks you up from the Livorno Port and takes you to the wonderful Tuscan countryside. Your first stop of the day will be San Gimignano where you will enjoy a stroll around the ancient town discovering its Medieval architecture and admiring the breathtaking towers. Here you will make a stop at a local Winery to taste the incredibile Vernaccia wine with a delectable wine tasting – the first of the day. Enjoy the delicious flavors before moving on to your next stop – the hometown of renowned Italian tenor, Maestro Andrea Bocelli. Stroll through the Bocelli Family vineyards where you will admire the beauty of the Tuscan hills and learn about how the Bocelli Family has been producing their delicious san giovese wines for many years. As you admire the lovely Bocelli Farmhouse from the outside, you will be chauffeured to the Officine Bocelli Restaurant. Here you will be greeted by members of the Bocelli Family and will indulge in a delectable Bocelli wine tasting with Alessio Bocelli, Maestro’s nephew. He will explain in detail to you the history of the family and their products produced on site, like wine, honey, oil and even skin products made from natural ingredients. After your wine tasting you’ll visit the Bocelli Museum located on the first floor of the restaurant. Admire the lifetime achievements of the Maestro Bocelli in the Bocelli Museum, where you will find a display of picutres of major events, awards he has won, and costumes he has worn on stage. When you return to your seat you will indulge in a delicious three course Tuscan meal of a pasta dish, meat dish, dessert and Italian coffee. To end the day, you will be chauffeured to Bolgheri, famous for being the homeland of the delicious Sassicaia, one of the Super Tuscan wines. Enjoy another wine tasting at a local winery as you admire the incredibile Tuscan countryside surrounding you. As your shorex come to a close, your Private English Speaking Driver will chauffeur you back to your cruise ship. Duration: 9 hours
