Description
Good morning in beautiful Tuscany. On your Bocelli Overnight Shore Excursion, your Private English Speaking Driver will greet you at your cruise ship at the port of La Spezia, and will chauffeur you to the Tuscan countryside. Your first stop will be Volterra, a medieval town known for it’s history and culture. Discover the ancient Roman amphitheater as you arrive, and take a stroll through the Piazza and visit the Alabaster laboratory to see how this town’s famous craft is created. From Volterra, you will visit the Teatro del Silenzio outdoor venue where Andrea Bocelli holds his annual concert for 10,000 guests from all over the world. Admire the beautiful Tuscan hills from this stunning venue and dream about Maestro Bocelli’s voice as it echoes through the hills. Continue on with your driver to the Bocelli family vineyards, where you will learn about the wine making process, and the grapes used to make their delicious wine. Learn about the other products they produce like their olive oil, honey, and natural cosmetics. From the vineyards, you will arrive at the Officine Bocelli Restaurant where you will be greeted by Alessio Bocelli, nephew of Andrea Bocelli. He will host a private wine tasting where you will indulge in fine Bocelli wines and delicious appetizers as you learn about the Bocelli family history. Enjoy a delicious Tuscan lunch after wine tasting and get ready to visit the Bocelli Museum located in the restaurant, dedicated to the lifetime musical achievements of Andrea Bocelli. After a wonderful morning and meal, you will be chauffeured to the city of Pisa where you will stroll around the beautiful Miracle Square, and witness the Leaning Tower, as well as the duomo and baptistery. That evening you will be chauffeured to your private accommodation where you will spend the night in beautiful Tuscany. The next morning you will enjoy a delicious breakfast, and check out of your accommodation, and you will be privately chauffeured back to your cruise ship at the port of La Spezia.
