Description
On our Bocelli Essence of Wine Shore Excursion, your Private English Speaking Driver will greet you at your cruise ship and welcome you to Italy, more specifically, the stunning region of Tuscany. He will chauffeur you through the gorgeous Tuscan hills as you arrive at your first stop, the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico, hometown of famed Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli. The Teatro del Silenzio is where Andrea Bocelli hosts his annual concert that holds 10,000 guests from all over the world that come to his hometown to witness his incredible performance of his voice echoing throughout the Tuscan hills from this enchanting outdoor venue. From there, you will visit the Bocelli family vineyards, and learn about the wine making process and the types of grapes used in the process, as well as the other productions of olive oil, honey and natural cosmetics. At the Officine Bocelli Restaurant, you will be greeted by Alessio Bocelli, nephew of Andrea, who will guide you through a private wine tasting of incredible Bocelli wines accompanied by fine appetizers of cured meats, and cheeses, with the Bocelli olive oil, and honey. After an informative and delicious tasting, you will enjoy a fine Tuscan lunch with a pasta dish, meat dish, side vegetable dish, dessert and coffee. Visit the Bocelli Museum located in the restaurant dedicated to the lifetime musical achievements of Maestro Bocelli. After a wonderful day, your Private English Speaking Driver will chauffeur you back to your cruise ship in La Spezia Port.
