Description
Your Bocelli Shop and Wine Tour begins as your English Speaking Driver picks you up from your cruise ship at the port of La Spezia. Your morning will be filled with shopping at the Mall Shopping Outlet, near Florence, where you can shop the beautiful Italian brand name stores at great prices. After a lovely morning, you will be chauffeured through the Tuscan hills to the hometown of renowned tenor Maestro Andrea Bocelli in Lajatico, Tuscany. Explore the mesmerizing Bocelli Family vineyards located in the middle of the Tuscan hills, overlooking the beautiful views, and learn about how wine is made. Continue on to the Bocelli Family restaurant where you will meet members of the Bocelli Family and be introduced to the family history and delicious products that they make, like wine, honey, and oil. Indulge in a private wine tasting with Alessio Bocelli, nephew of Andrea Bocelli and enjoy the flavors as he explains in detail the family history and the delicious reds and whites you are tasting. You will savor the flavors of Bocelli wines and delectable cured meats and cheeses and breads along with the wine. After the wine tasting you will have the opportunity to visit the Bocelli Museum located on the first floor of the restaurant to admire the lifetime achievements of the Maestro including his awards, photos, childhood toys, and even costumes he has worn on stage. Head back down to your table to enjoy a three course Tuscan lunch made up of pasta, meat and dessert and Italian coffee. After a delicious meal and beautiful day, your Private English Speaking Driver will chauffeur you back to your cruise ship at the La Spezia Port.
