Arrive at Rome Airport, where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your accommodation by your private driver on board a Mercedes Benz vehicle. Enjoy a delicious lunch and then visit the Basilica of St. John in Lateran, home to one of the most significant Holy Doors. You will also visit the Scala Sancta (Holy Stairs), adding a sacred touch to your pilgrimage experience. Then check in at your hotel in center of Rome and enjoy your first roman dinner!
On the second day of your Jubilee Week Tour , explore the Vatican, the heart of Christianity, and visit St. Peter’s Basilica, where the Holy Door symbolizes the path to spiritual grace during the Jubilee Year. A local licensed guide will tell you evruthinf about the pieces of art in the Vatican Museums and of course admire the magnificent Sistine Chapel.
After lunch at a local Roman restaurant, with your private driver head to St. Paul’s Basilica Outside the Walls, another important Holy Door destination. Your private guide will explain to you about this basilica, founded by Emperor Constantine, honors the life and martyrdom of St. Paul. In the evening, you’ll explore St. Mary Major, one of Rome’s four major basilicas. This stunning church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and houses one of the Holy Doors, which can be accessed at night, offering a more serene and reflective experience. This unique after-hours visit provides an opportunity for prayer and contemplation in a peaceful atmosphere, away from the daytime crowds. Then you will taste a delicious dinner at a panoramic restaurant, overlooking the eternal city from the top!
After breakfast, with your private driver you’ll depart from Rome and travel towards Assisi, a town that has long been a place of pilgrimage due to its association with St. Francis of Assisi. Along the way, you will stop in Spoleto, a charming town known for its beautiful Duomo (Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta). Today is dedicated to the town of Assisi, where you will spend the entire day exploring its sacred sites with your private guide. Inside, you will find beautiful artworks and a profound spiritual atmosphere. You’ll have time to admire the cathedral’s frescoes and learn about its historical and religious significance. After your visit to Orvieto, you’ll continue on to Rome, where you will have the evening free to relax and reflect on your incredible journey.
